As a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist, I seek to help my clients meet their individual wellness goals through a non-prescriptive approach. I believe you have the capability to be the change you want. Whether you are looking for sustainable weight-management techniques or improving your relationship with food or your body, I will partner with you on this journey. I have over 10 years experience working with individuals who have an unhealthy or distorted relationship with food and/or their body. Additionally, as a former collegiate athlete, I work with athletes on performance nutrition or those who are struggling with weight or body-image.
I enjoy guiding clients toward freedom from the constraints this unhealthy relationship has held. I use a non-judgemental stance around food and weight, mindful/intuitive eating techniques and guidance in the elimination of negative behaviors. I have additional experience coaching individuals on stress management, exercise, and tobacco cessation.
I am passionate about the role food plays in the health of body and mind and the intimate connection between gut-health and the brain. Food can be both pleasurable and nourishing. I look forward to guiding you on your journey toward a healthy relationship with food..
Sessions typically last 30-60 minutes. They are individualized to the goals of each client, and typically involve nutrition assessment, identification of goals, barriers and support.
